The Ida Bay Railway Preservation Society has submitted a proposal to the government.

Restoring the railway is an expensive task. Much of the work needed will be done by willing volunteers but … sleepers, rail, spikes, ballast, equipment, replacement parts, tools (the list goes on) will need to be bought.
